Round Rugs

For centuries round area rugs were available only through custom order due to the difficult method of weaving them. However, due to their rise in popularity it is much easier – and more affordable – to bring a round design home. You can find round designs in traditional or modern styles and made from any material you like, whether from silk strands or synthetic fibers.

Round Isn’t Square

Choose from our round rugs if you’re “anything but square.” These are made to highlight furniture or a specific area in a room – and that’s exactly what they accomplish. You want the 360 degree floor covering you select to draw attention to one particular area of a room. Keeping this in mind, it’s a good idea to consider the color scheme inside your existing room – or the room that you will be creating – before choosing a curving, pleasing, round design.

Your furniture is also a topic to consider when choosing to go with round area rugs. If your dining room has a round table a circular rug underneath would be a fine design choice, mirroring the table which sits on it. If you have a circular mirror, or a round coffee table, a rug in 360 would certainly add some flair where you would normally find hard, straight lines.

If you have a long room, with a main floor covering in the center, a circular rug at one end of the room would create a comfortable seating nook without building walls. In the kid’s bedrooms, playroom or nursery a thick-piled example will create an ideal place to tell stories, read books, or play games.

Decorating with round floor-coverings is a simple way to add style and diverse shape without intensive labor.
