Thickness of rug: Standard area rug height. 1/4"- 1/2".
Color matches online picture: The actual colors are very similar.
Construction quality: The construction is tight, strong and should last for years.
How material feels: The material feels like that of other quality rugs.

This rug is exactly as it is pictured. Made well. Priced too high. Black really shows the dirt.

Review of the Colonial Mills Wool Solids Wl05 Black Area Rug
I was looking for a rug to tie some furniture together and cover my ugly beige apt carpeting. I love the look of this rug, but I couldn't tell if it was truly the material and color I was hoping for. After speaking with CS, I found out that this maybe it, so I took the plunge. I bought the Black Oval 3.5" x 5'6, which I thought would be perfect, after numerous measurements. I love the luxurious look and the rich solid color of this rug. It's nothing I've ever seen in stores. However, it seemed a bit smaller for the area I intended it for once I got it in. But I ended up really liking it under my 3-piece pub set/table in the same area. I would have loved to have gotten the next size up, but it is way more expensive. I don't regret my purchase, and I intend to get more quality braided rugs in this style and brand. Shipping and delivery was also so super quick. I would recommend others to come here for their rug needs.
