This rug is a very sharp looking rug and I am very happy with the look and quality. Just wish I knew how long the wool rugs shed. Will get lots of good comments on it I'm sure. Thanks for the great price!

Thickness of rug: Very thick. Approximately 1/2"- 3/4".
Color matches online picture: The colors don't closely match, but I still like the rug.
Construction quality: The construction meets my expectation for the price.
How material feels: The material is soft and plush.

Review of the Momeni New Wave Nw-12 Purple Area Rug

Ok, this rug is one we saw at a store that unfortunately went out of business before we could buy it and we really liked it because it was so vibrant and different. I want to warn website viewers here that the color in this photo is totally off. The actual rug (which we think is MUCH nicer than this photo) is a very brightly colored rug. The background color in the center is a rich, deep purple not this mauve looking color. There are golds and rusts and colors hard to describe but not muted. Colors are bright happy and fun! If you want understated color (as this looks here) not the rug for you. The photo view that shows just a corner of this rug is the most representative. Take a look at that view before buying.
