I have never had as indoor/outdoor area rug but feel it is perfect for my kitchen area, It does not show soil or walk pattern wear. The price was fantastic for the price. Now, if they could make a style with a softer texture I would like this easy care product for my family room. I stronly recommend this rug for kitchen areas,
