I was pleased to see that the colors of the rug are very similar to the colors shown online. The rug is lighter, colors not as pronounced. The gray lighter but still worked for the room. I had to wait for 6 weeks as the 9x12 size was not in stock but it arrived well packaged and once it was shipped I was able to track it. We are experiencing shedding, but I expected some hopefully it will cease soon.

Review of the Surya Caesar Cae-1001 Beige / Rust Red / Sage / Chocolate Area Rug

The background color is actually a subtle khaki/taupe rather than the lighter cream color shown in the photo and the photo does not clearly appreciate the sage around the edges, however the rug is very attractive as it is. My walls are a deep cream color and my furniture mahogony. The *8x8* square was the perfect fit for my dining room and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The rug came in about a week which very much impressed me.

This rug is a beautiful addition to our office entry area. The colors are darker khaki than on the picture, which is perfect for us since it is in a high traffic area. My only complaint is it curls a little bit at the corners, but since we just put it down yesterday it may straighten out after a few days.

This rug is identical in color to the rug shown online. In fact, the colors in the photo are so accurate that I am using the photo (I saved from your site) to help me pick out a complementary- colored wall paint. Walking barefoot on this rug is a pleasure, as it is thick and nice to the touch. The sale price and free shipping were great too. Your customer service staff are well trained and very professional and helpful.
Small fibers are clinging to my dark sweat pants when I sit on the rug, but I would not call it shedding excessive. I would expect the shedding will decrease over time. This rug appears well made and I expect it to last a long time.
The plastic the rug was wrapped in tore in a few places during shipment, and exposed the back of the rug to dirt. The back of the rug stained some. The stain did not go through the rug's protective back layer but I would recommend the rug's manufacturer to use better quality plastic for shipping.
