At first glance, Surya Aros area rugs appear to be one solid color. Closer inspection reveals individual shag loops that occupy a range of lighter and darker tones of the same color. These variations in color intensity give the shag rugs an appealing sense of texture and depth. Hand-woven in India, the Aros rug collection features 100-percent New Zealand felted wool, which adds to the visual appeal and is extremely soft to the touch.

Thickness of rug: Very thick. Approximately 1/2"- 3/4".
Color matches online picture: The actual colors are slightly darker, but O.K.
Construction quality: The construction is tight, strong and should last for years.
How material feels: The fibers are dense and luxurious.

Review of the Surya Aros Aros-11 Spa Blue Area Rug

This rug feels so deep and comfy underfoot, which is why I bought it. I don't actually expect it to hold up for the long-term, but I wanted it for one indulgent, plush spot to sink my feet into.
