Thickness of rug: Standard area rug height. 1/4"- 1/2".
Color matches online picture: The actual colors are very similar.
Construction quality: The construction is tight, strong and should last for years.
How material feels: The fibers are dense and luxurious.

These rugs are very well made and very heavy! I did have to buy slip resistant pads for underneath because the rugs are very stiff and moved easily on my hardwood floors. I would not recommend a thick pad, because the rugs themselves are quite thick and don't "bend" easily, so a thick pad really raises the rug. They do shed, and if you have cats...be prepared! Not only does every hair show, but they love to scratch on them! Meaning more rug shedding, and occasional pulls.
