Review of the Couristan Himalaya Sarouk 6257/1000 Ebony Area Rug

Excellent quality rug. I had a chance to see this rug in person (5x8') in Macy's and it is a very high quality. I purchased and returned 3 rugs until I found this oriental style rug. I have a similar one made by Oriental Weavers that I paid $1,000 for about 6 years ago and it still looks great (same style and color) and this rug has even more thread/area count (1.5 million vs 1 million). The picture is true to color. The edge design (tan squares have a small amount of red color, but it sets of the black and creme nicely). The center design is very ornate.

I purchased the 11 x 13' and its great. Best price on this rug with the 15% off on the internet and free shipping.
